Paddling Lake Superior

Join us at our next NBCB event!

Jonathan Small and Sally-Anne Way will share their experiences as kayak guides in Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, a 22 island archipelago on Lake Superior's South shore. The talk will touch on historical, geological, and practical aspects of this protected wilderness area.

Jonathan Small learned to kayak at NBCB in 2015 where he certified as a trip leader, and met his now wife, Sally-Anne Way.  During the pandemic this paddling pair certified as ACA L3 Instructors and ACA L3 Trip Leaders, and worked as guides for an outfitter, leading multi-night kayak camping trips in The Apostle Islands National Lakeshore.

Come out and learn more about this duo's paddling adventures, the incredible environment they encountered, and catch up with NBCB members and friends.

RSVP is not required, but it would be appreciated.

This event is FREE. Donations to NBCB will be accepted.

All are welcome You DO NOT have to be an NBCB member to attend.
