Thank you NBCB Volunteers!
We've had another successful season at NBCB fulfilling our mission enabling safe, responsible, human-powered boating, and educating residents to be stewards of the history, ecology and sustainability of the of the waterways of Newtown Creek and the adjacent East River.
In 2023, NBCB successfully offered members and residents canoe and kayak trips, public paddles, art and biology events, safety and marine knowledge classes, and helped get students, artists, and community groups into our waters. And we could not have done it without YOUR time and support!
To show how incredibly grateful we are to all those who have volunteered in any way, NBCB will be hosting a Volunteer Appreciation Party at Greenpoint Beer & Ale Co.
Expect food and complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
The night will include presentations from committees to update you on all things NBCB.
